Revamped Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Friday, January 23rd, 2009This beautiful new Aston Martin V8 vantage now comes with a new 4.7 litre, 420bhp engine mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox as standard. The new engine now promises fuel economy figures on the right side of 20 mpg, which is an improvement over the 4.3 litre engine previously fitted to this model. Further improvements to this model which is now in its third year of production, include new 19in wheels, improved facia and improved handling and reliability. For the princely sum of £84,995, anyone can live the James Bond lifestyle. Aston Marton have taken the opportunity to raise the price of the revamped version by £2000 over the previous version, but I suspect that it’s well worth the extra money. The car hasn’t really changed much at all, which considering that the previous model was such a great all rounder, is a good thing. The revamped version with the new 4.7 litre V8 engine will do 0-60mph in 4.7sec, and go on to a whopping top speed of 182 mph. – I want one!
